Materials list
These are the materials that I use. If you have a comparable substitute, it should be fine.
- 9x12 Strathmore Bristol paper. Thick paper so that markers shouldn’t bleed on the page behind the art, and water shouldn’t warp the paper too much.
- Watercolor (Holbein or Windsor Newton). Any 12 half pan set should be fine. This is very personal so you pick according to budget.
- This St. Petersburg White Nights watercolor set looks nice too.
- Cold Press Watercolor 300gsm paper 9x12 (lots of texture)
- Copic Multiliner SP 0.5mm water proof& copic proof pen
- Copic Multiliner SP 0.3mm water proof& copic proof pen
- Copic Multiliner SP 0.3mm water proof& copic proof pen
- Prisma Verithin color pencils These are hard color pencils that will allow you to make thin lines
- Liquitex marker set (for sketching)
- Windsor & Newton gouache permanent white (for precise work)
